Bernard é uma série de curtas de animação centrado no urso fictício polar e principal personagem do mesmo. Cada episódio de três minutos centra-se na curiosidade do urso e tem muitos momentos de palhaçada. Bernard nunca fala com a exceção de ruídos inteligível.
Ele geralmente fica inconsciente no final de um episódio, devido a alguma calamidade causada por suas trapalhadas.
Bernard foi nomeado para vários prêmios, incluindo séries Melhor Animação no Festival de Stuttgart Animated Film (2006), MIPCOM Jr. Licensing Challenge Award (2004), Prêmio Nobel de Crianças e Educação na Dong-A Festival Internacional de Cartoon & animação (2004) e foi finalista no Festival Internacional de Animação de Annecy (2003).
